top 2021 home projects

To see where you’re going, you must reflect on where you’ve been. In this post we’re looking back on some of our top 2021 home projects. Whether it’s a full home remodel, custom kitchen selections, a personalized full service project, or a one room refresh every project has been so fulfilling to see come to fruition for the families who now enjoy their newly curated spaces daily.

Some of our Top 2021 Home Projects:

  1. The Modern Classic
This home already had all the magic hiding underneath. All it needed was to be enhanced. The color palette for this project included: white, black, and brass. Our favorite design elements for this project are the detailed wainscoting, the black polished railings, the brass statement lighting in each space, and the subtle but impactful changes made to the exterior.
  2. The Countryside Project
This home was located on a beautiful piece of land in Raleigh that overlooked a small pond with ducks. It felt like a slice of country in the middle of a city. The color palette for this project included: warm tones, crisp whites, black, and natural woods. Our favorite design elements for this project are the herringbone backsplash, custom tile fireplace surround, statement black lighting, and the floating shelves in the kitchen that immediately opened up a closed in space.
  3. The Coastal Retreat
This one room refresh gave a sweet couple the retreat they were looking for at the end of a long day. This one day transformation proves that good design doesn’t have to mean buying everything new, but instead working with what you have to become what you want it to be. The color palette for this space included coastal blues, white, deep wood, natural finishes, and polished nickel. Our favorite design elements for this space are the floor to ceiling draperies, custom art, and textural mirror.
  4. The Transitional Traditional
This house was the victim of a very bad renovation only a few years ago, but we KNEW it’s southern charm was hiding somewhere underneath all the seashell tile. This project is proof that peeling back the layers and simplifying design is when true classic beauty happens. The color palette for this project included: neutral tones, soft grays, creamy whites, natural wood, and subtle blues. Our favorite design elements for this project are … can we say everything? (Kidding) But, if we had to pick then the powder room wallpaper, overhauled classic kitchen, cozy nursery, rebuilt staircases, and the exterior transformation would be at the top of our list!
  5. The Modern Farmhouse
This house has been a true labor of love since it’s my own house! Although we semi-custom built this home it’s been so rewarding to add our own personal touches to it while settling in over the last year. The color palette for this project included: neutral tones, soft blues, black, gray, natural woods, and crisp white.0952DF6C ACA4 47F5 9522 94FB3B1970E2 1 201 a The Modern Classic
